Return, Replacement & Refund Policy

At United Works Global (“UWG”), we are committed to delivering high-quality building products and exceptional customer service. As many of our products are manufactured or prepared specifically for each project, our return policy differs from standard retail purchases.

1. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are responsible for inspecting all products immediately upon delivery.

Please report any visible damage, shortages, or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery.

Hidden manufacturing defects must be reported within 7 calendar days after delivery.

To submit a claim, please provide:

  • Order Number
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • A detailed description of the issue

Failure to report within these timeframes may result in the claim being denied.

2. Eligible Returns

Returns may be accepted under the following circumstances:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Shipping damage
  • Incorrect products shipped by UWG
  • Other issues approved by UWG after inspection

Returned products must:

  • Be unused
  • Be in their original packaging whenever possible
  • Be in resalable condition unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect

3. Non-Returnable Products

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-made products
  • Made-to-order products
  • Products manufactured to customer specifications providers
  • Installed products
  • Products damaged due to improper handling, storage, or installation
  • Clearance or final sale items

4. Return Authorization

All returns require prior written authorization from UWG.

Returns sent without authorization may be refused.

Please contact our customer service team before returning any merchandise.

5. Refunds & Replacements

After the returned products are received and inspected, UWG will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include:

  • Product replacement
  • Repair
  • Credit toward future purchases
  • Partial or full refund, when applicable

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return results from an error made by UWG.

6. Return Shipping

If the return is caused by:

UWG Responsibility

  • Incorrect product shipped
  • Manufacturing defect
  • Shipping damage occurring before delivery

UWG will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Customer Responsibility

If the return is requested for reasons other than UWG’s error, the customer is responsible for:

  • Return freight charges
  • Applicable restocking fees
  • Any handling costs

7. Wood Product Characteristics

Natural variations in wood—including grain patterns, color differences, texture, knots, and normal dimensional tolerances—are inherent characteristics of wood products and are not considered manufacturing defects.

8. Installation Policy

Installation of a product constitutes acceptance of the product.

Products that have been installed are not eligible for return due to visible defects that could reasonably have been identified prior to installation.

Warranty claims are handled separately from this Return & Refund Policy.
